MESSAGE LENGTH

If you do not receive all the markets that you have selected then you have selected more markets than your cell phone can receive as one text message.

We have designed some options to help with this.

• BACK GROUND INFO

Text message size can vary from 105 to 640 characters from carrier to carrier. We currently work with 302 carriers, each with 5 to 30 different types of hand sets (the actual cell phone). We also send to email.

Some carriers will take a larger message, and break it into smaller messages. Even though we send one message, the carrier splits it up. When this happens, usually, but not always, the first half of the message arrives, and within a second the second half arrives. When you go to view the message, this can be confusing as you will see the second half of the message first, often split at a confusing place.

Other carriers just cut any text beyond the message length completely. Thus if you want more markets than will fit on one text message, you can use our multiple message feature.

Whether to control your message breaks or to receive more markets, you can use multiple messages from Markets on Cell. Please scroll down to read more on this great feature.

There is no extra charge for multiple accounts to the same number. You can have as many Market accounts to the same number as you would like.

• To add additional Market Account to your cell phone, go to the Brown Icon, Manage My Markets.
• On your current Market Account, click on the Edit Markets to the Right of your name. Where it most likely says Primary, replace that with a single word, to name that group so you can identify it from your additional set of markets.
• On the Line that says Multiple click on the On radio button. This will tell our system to send all the Market accounts to you, not just the first.
• You may want to change the Markets on this account now, or you can do it later.
• Click Save
• This returned you to main Manage My Markets window.
• On the top Left corner of the Window you will see in small Green letters, Add New. Please click that.
• This will open a box for you to Manage your additional Market accounts.
• The key would be to Mark the Multiple radio button as On and Put in the Market account description.

• MULTIPLE MESSAGES

We have a couple methods for you to receive more markets. Multiple messages and extended messages.

YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE SURE TO CLICK THE MULTIPLE MESSAGE RADIO BUTTON ON THE TOP OF THE MANAGE YOUR MARKETS PAGE. OTHERWISE ONLY YOUR FIRST ACCOUNT WILL BE SENT.

Now you can have additional markets and/or control where your market messages are separated. Again there is no charge for Markets on Cell for additional accounts.

• EXTENDED MESSAGES

This service is for those who receive the markets as an email, email to your cell phone, or have a phone which can receive over 200 character text messages

• Follow the direction above to add an additional Market Account. You will just click the Extended Radio button instead of the On radio button.
• Again there is no current limit to the number of accounts and there is no charge for Markets on Cell for additional accounts. We do reserve the right to change this as any time.
